Who We Are

Founded more than 200 years ago, the Democratic Party was born in response to the idea that government should represent the people and that wealth and status should not be an entitlement to rule.

The Powell County Democratic Party functions under those same guidelines. We help promote the candidates and policies that we feel best serve the community as a whole, not just the wealthy and powerful. Our Executive Committee works hard for this community day in and day out.
