The Committee

The Powell County Democratic Executive Committee is a 20-member board that serves to not only progress the ideas and values of the Democratic Party in Powell County, but to help find and promote highly qualified and capable candidates for local and regional offices. The committee is voted on by local, registered Democrats every 4 years. If a committee member leaves, the entire committee votes to appoint a new member to serve until that committee member’s term expires.
