October 22nd – 4th Annual Chili Cook-Off

We hosted our 4th annual chili cook-off in Clay City at the AmVets post #67. This is our primary fundraiser for the year. It also serves as a chance for the community to interact with some of our candidates before the election. Click here to view photos from the event.

September 12th through the 16th – Powell County Fair & Parade

We set up our annual booth at the fair. This gives us the chance to meet most of the people from the region and really hear what they have to say. We also hand out campaign merchandise and distribute any information we have on the candidates, as well as our upcoming events.

August 27th – Rally ‘ Round the Rooster

This was our inaugural Rally ‘Round the Rooster event. We aspire to turn this into something similar to Fancy Farm for the Democratic Party. We want the candidates to meet and interact with the good people of Eastern Kentucky; really get to know the issues and concerns they have. The event brought out almost all the major candidates running for election and provided a great venue for the candidates to interact with their prospective constituents.
